Light
Strings are high quality, heavy duty, commercial grade, strands
with a variety of socket sizes (bases) and spacing.
Light Strings meant to be put
up and left up for a longer period of time than your standard C-7 and
C-9 streamers. This product is made to withstand the sun's destructive
rays, and comes with a built-in rubberized gasket and an inner socket
far superior to most outside lights, keeping moisture out. They feature
parallel wired, 16-gauge wire. Compliment these features with a long
life bulb, and you have an ingenious lighting solution for rooftops.

There
are three different types of bases (see below)
All are PVC encapsulated with
brass contacts and are impervious to UV sunlight. The lips of
the sockets are rubber, designed to insure a weatherproof seal around
the light bulb base.
Ideal for lighting landscaping,
restaurants, hotels, malls, and building exteriors.
There are a variety of light
bulbs that can be used in these bases. Just make sure the base and
the bulb are compatible.
The letter associated with the
bulb describes the style or shape of the lamp. The number is
associated with the lamp is its size. The lower the number, the
smaller the bulb is.
For example, the A-19 and the
A-15 both have the same shape, but the A-15 is smaller in size
than the A-19.
